This versatile constant temperature bath is designed for determining density, relative density (specific gravity), or API gravity of crude petroleum, liquid petroleum products, and mixtures. It operates at temperatures up to 195F (90C) and is also suitable for Reid Vapor Pressure determinations using immersion bombs. The digital temperature control ensures quick stabilization without overshoot, and an overtemperature control circuit protects the unit by interrupting power if the bath temperature exceeds a set cut-off point.
