This reproduction of the rare 30's US NAVY denim jacket features a simple design reminiscent of a box shirt. The body length is adjusted to a comfortable length, while the silhouette is slightly relaxed. The shoulder slope is emphasized more than the original, and although the sleeves are simple, tube-shaped sleeves, they are slightly curved for a three-dimensional fit.
The outer fabric is made from an original fabric that uses thick weft yarn typically found in 13oz class denim, arranged with high density. It expresses the neppy texture of the 30s' immature spinning techniques by using leftover cotton and weaving it densely. The hand-scraping process recreates the aging effect of deep-colored, mint condition denim.
